Our Story

Kikyo Pearl London is an international jewellery brand operated by Dom & Chalsea Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. The brand reflects an international collaboration across design, sourcing, and craftsmanship, bringing together Eastern material heritage and contemporary global design perspectives.

After working with pearls since 2022, our founder spent nearly three years reflecting on what truly distinguishes one pearl brand from another in today’s Western market. As many collections began to feel increasingly similar, a more considered and refined design direction gradually emerged.

Kikyo Pearl London developed through this process — shaped by a dialogue between Eastern design philosophy and contemporary Western sensibility. Inspired by the Japanese bellflower, Kikyo, a symbol of quiet strength and clarity, our creations are defined by intention rather than excess.

Our emblem, a five-petaled Kikyo blossom drawn from traditional kamon crests, holds a single pearl at its center — reflecting balance, restraint, and the time required for natural beauty to form.

Every Kikyo creation begins with careful material selection. Our pearl specialists, with over a decade of hands-on experience, personally source and assess pearls from trusted Japanese Akoya and Chinese freshwater suppliers.

Each pearl is evaluated against AAA–AAAA criteria, focusing on luster, surface quality, and tonal harmony.
